In January, we went to see Hayden performing live in Kitchener and a singer/songwriter named Basia Bulat warmed the stage for him. I wasn’t expecting to enjoy her performance as much as I did so I was pleasantly surprised. She was really good and she played some interesting instruments that I don’t even know the name of. Troy picked up the CD of her first album “Oh My Darling” before the show began and it’s been one of the most played albums of the year so far in our household. Anyway, I just found that there’s an interview with Basia Bulat with a couple of unreleased songs available for download at Daytrotter. You should check it out! The Untitled song is particularly beautiful and worth playing over and over again.
