Hello! Did you miss me? Probably not. It’s only been two days since the last time I blogged something for you. I just had a couple of other things to pursue. But I’ll be back with some links to amuse you on Monday. Promise. Scout’s honour.
Anyway, I was just surfing around the Bloggerville today and it was a pretty depressing experience. But then again, I was walking around a tougher part of town: the Blogging Network Street, which is kind of the Wall Street because everything is all about money, except they’re trying to sell blogs instead of shares. And it was a depressing experience because there was simply no loving there.
I wasn’t talking about the 9rules Network. I wouldn’t have joined this network if I didn’t see any loving going on there. It’s about The Others™. Think all those war blogs are bad? Well, wait until you see half of the bitching going on between blog networks. I’d suggest you go to Blogebrity for the scoop because, as far as I know, it’s not part of any of the networks, which is supposed to make their, uh, reports fair and balanced. Did I just say fair and balanced? Good Lord!
I guess that should teach me NEVER to walk on the Blogging Network Street again. Well, unless I have to. While I still find war blogs more upsetting than the blog networks, all the bitching going on between the networks makes me wonder where all the loving has gone. Remember when blogging was all about spreading linky love and bloggers seem to link to each other and read each other and know each other, though not necessarily like each other? That was good time. I kind of miss the simplicity of it all.
Welcome back. Yes, you were missed.
I still hope you can dispense some advice as to how I can get my blog a bit more centered. (It’s a Ferdamatic special.)
