Long time no haiku!
Rain falling all day
has melted the snow away.
I think Spring is near.
I got myself a new passport today. No, not a Canadian passport. An Indonesian one since my old one would expire in August this year. I thought it would take ages for me to receive my new passport, but in reality it only took less than a week. I mailed out everything (forms, documents, etc.) to the Indonesian Consulate in Toronto on Friday last week. They received the package two days ago, and today the new passport, along with the old, cancelled one, were sitting pretty in our mailbox. Yay! One worry out of the way. Though I like my old passport better. The new one — which is sporting a brand new design — looks kind of boring. But at least I don’t look like a Bombay bandit in my new passport photo.
In other news, I kind of miss watching people walk their cats. A girl from the next apartment building used to do that. It never failed to amuse me. But I haven’t seen her doing it in awhile. What a shame. Do you walk your cat?

Ummm… “walk?”
As with a leash and everything?!? Bizarre!
