i didn’t read the article about the deaths related to some game, but i know basically what it’s about. i mean, we’ve heard it all before right? my opinion on the matter is that if someone is that messed up, they’re going to kill or commit suicide anyway, it might just be in a different way is all. blaming murder or suicide on any object is completely ignorant of this fact. it’s the same thing with guns. objects don’t kill people. people kill people and that’s the absolute truth.
Actually, though that’s what I expected, too, the article really isn’t like that at all, wildcat. The headline is a bit misleading, I guess, because when people say “role-playing” we tend to think of Dungeons & Dragons, but it sounds like the role-playing game involved was one of those dinner party murder-mysteries, and the story doesn’t try to heft the blame on role-playing.
The key phrase is “agreed to be murdered along with his family if he lost”. Who in their right mind would agree to be murdered?
Nope. I’m just busy, busy, busy! I’ll go back to posting linkolas again next week, I promise! :)
