We had homemade chicken chowmein and grape juice for dinner but since we were listening to a Beethoven record (yes, as in vinyl record), we pretended that we were having caviar and some 100 year-old wine. We’re adorkable that way.
While we’re on the topic of pretend food, Fancy Fast Food is a blog that shows you how to make junk food from fast food chain restaurants look like fancy food from some fancy restaurant. Personally, I’d be too afraid to eat it but some might find it an inexpensive way to impress a date. (Link via @subsomatic.)
I posted a link to STFU, Parents on Facebook and now I’m wondering if I’ve offended some Facebook friends who happen to be parents. I really only posted it because I thought the Facebook statuses (statii?) featured on the blog were hilarious. Some people don’t seem to realise that there is such thing as too much information.
Did anyone notice that these days many of the most interesting topical blogs seem to be hosted on Tumblr? I tried to set up a sub-domain to point to a Tumblr blog but it didn’t seem to work. A-record shmerecord. I would’ve loved to use Vertigo theme for Tumblr. It looks really cool.
Um, what else? Troy thinks I’m so naive for not seeing what is so wrong about this image right away. I seriously thought it had something to do with the headphones being hooked up to the brakes or some crazy failure like that. Mind you, I’m good at stating the obvious but not so good at seeing the obvious.
