Who Has Two Thumbs...

… and hasn’t updated her blog in over a month? This girl! But hey, at least I redesigned the blog while I wasn’t updating! Granted, it’s not even my own original design (I just grabbed the excellent Mid Century template and modified it a bit) but it’s got to count for something, right? Right.

I’m pretty happy with how the site looks right now, except for a few things. For instance, I’m not sure about the navigation bar above. I think it could use a little more oomph. I’m just not sure what kind of oomph I should give it. Maybe an oompha loompha? And I should probably customize the logo as well. Make it more personal and less generic.

In case it matters, I did dwell on creating an original design for weeks but it was just not happening. I couldn’t come up with anything that I’m happy with. Anyway, I hope you like the new look. I’ll try to update the blog more often instead of once in a blue moon. Did you know that a blue moon is an extra full moon in a year and that it happens every 2.72 years? I didn’t know that until recently. Don’t worry. I can almost guarantee that you won’t have to wait for 2.72 years for my next update. :)
