So the boy and I have decided to go all crafty. We're planning to participate in this month's A Month of Softies. I bought a bunch of crafty stuff from the dollar store yesterday and later, after the boy came back from work, we went to Michaels -- an arts and crafts store a.k.a. the most confusing store on earth -- to buy things we'd need that I couldn't find at the dollar store.
I really can't remember the last time I sew so I thought I'd try my hand at making a sock monkey this morning as a warm-up. I thought it would be easy, but it's not. It's not overly hard, either. I guess I just have to try to get myself into the sewing of things (I'm so punny!) and it will all become so much easier.
I'll be sure to post a picture whenever we come up with anything. Since we have equally weird sense of humour, don't expect to see anything normal coming from us. Something similar to these Ugly Dolls is more likely. Well, I'd better go back to my sock monkey project. Later!
