Greetings from Canada!
Yeah, yeah, I know I said I’d post from England but I just didn’t have the time to do so. I arrived in Toronto, Ontario, Canada yesterday evening. The flight from London to Toronto took about 8 hours. It didn’t feel all that long. People drive on the wrong side of the road here, but I forgive them.
Anyway, Troy picked me up at the airport in Toronto. Instead of getting freaked out to see me, he gave me a hug. That was very brave of him. We went straight to his place in Waterloo. After I had a shower, we went grocery shopping (at 9:30 PM, no less) because Troy wanted me to get stuff for me to eat. Unfortunately, there weren’t too many Firda Approved™ food products there, but I’ll live.
I really would like to write more but Troy’s computer’s keyboard is driving me nuts so I guess that’s all for now. When I’ve got used to this ergonomic keyboard thing, I’ll share some stories about my adventures in England (with pictures of the infamous Quack the Duck!). Later!
Quacks on Greetings from Canada!
yuppyyy…
but stilll.…we want story…we want story :p
No we drive on the “right side” of the road (get the pun? Right side?). I would imagine the Brits drive on the prop side :)
Glad to hear that Troy is treating you okay :). Would love to hear what you have to say about England.
I love ergonomic keyboards. Straight keyboards make my wrists hurt. Don’t worry. You’ll get used to it in no time (maybe).
I’m curious now. What foods are “Firda Approved™”?
Have a great time in Toronto!
would love to hear the story! i’m courious about the food thing as well… :)
yay for Firda - World Traveler!!!!!!!!1 :D
write more soon wench!
Hey, great to hear that you are really lapping it all up in your trip. Imagine covering two continents in one go! Can’t wait for your stories!
I lived in Toronto for a short time 13 years ago. I remember how much I hated the GST tax there.
When will you be coming home?
