W is for…

Thursday  •  08:15 PM  •  74 words

If you tend to pay good attention to movie posters, especially to the typography, you should do well in the Movie Alphabet Game. I love movies but I don’t pay much attention to the posters so I forgive myself for being able to answer correctly to only six of them (D, I, M, S, T, W). Here’s a hint: the movie title not necessarily begin with the letter of alphabet that represents it.

There is a second one here.

If anyone needs hints or anything I’ve got the answers for the first one.

Did you actually know all the answers or did you look them up somewhere? ;) Tell you what. Upload it somewhere and post the link. Or better yet, email me it. Hehe.

I know just 1 (one), the “A”. Didn’t even try to take a guess at the others. 1 out of 26 is not very good, is it?

I only got 9. Most of them looked familiar, but I just couldn’t place them.

Just thought I’d post the hints I got from Troy here, in case anyone is desperate enough for it (like I did):

A - “I love the smell of Napalm in the morning” (War Movie)
B - German Submarine Movie
C - Jack Skellington and the Crew
D - The King Vampire!
E - Asteroids almost destory the earth
F - “Life is like a box of chocolates…”
G - Don’t feed them after midnight!
H - The story of the headless horseman
I - A Gut Splitting good time (and I’m not talking about laughing)
J - Rabid horror movie Saint Bernard
K - Alcatraz
L - “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life”
M - Brendan Fraiser Seeks Ancient Egyptian Man for Good Times
N - Wouldn’t it be cool to live in a computer? Light cycles and all!
O - “Houston, we have a problem..”
P - Cyborg policeman
Q - Kind of a parody of Star Trek featuring Tim Allen
R - Lara Croft
S - Western - don’t know much about it
T - Crappy 80’s movie with the song “Danger Zone” by Kenny Loggins (what about this movie didn’t suck?)
U - Amazing low budget Canadian movie - if a square is in two-dimensions, what is the three dimension equivalent?
V - The one are man did it! (I’m sure there’s a typo there.)
W - Hooker turns princess all because of love *gag*
X - French movie. TV show of the same name featured Andy Kaufmann and Danny DeVito.
Y - Features of this movie: David Bowie’s piece and Jennifer Connelly’s hotness
Z - Not “A Bug’s Life”, the other animated bug movie.

I still can’t figure out some of the answers, even with all the hints. I suck.
