Have you ever wondered about the origin of Murphy’s Law? Click the link to find the answer. Ed Murphy might not be the inventor or the infamous Murphy’s Law but the Law was named in honor of him. He died in 1990. He was a test pilot but it isn’t clear whether or not he died because of the law that he supposedly coined: if anything can go wrong, it will.

Murphy’s Law is as much a profound philosophical declaration as it is a cliche. So many people quote it off-handedly these days, as they do Heller’s Catch-22. But it is interesting reading about the origins and assumptions of the origins of Murphy’s Law. Thanks for the interesting pointer.
