adfree.blogspot.com is just one of the many evil things I’m capable of doing when I’m bored. Pyra really should be smarter than that.

(Some of you might still remember that fateful day last year when I unintentionally brought the mighty Weblogs.com server down. I was bored too then. I am dangerous when I’m bored.)

Firda: heh, nice one.. but the design falls apart if the browser is too wide.

I’ve actually figured out a foolproof way to have a static column, with the rest of the site fluid. I based it on one of your “lemons are not obscene” designs.

The design doesn’t fall apart in resolutions larger than 800x600. Only the banner ad shows up. No big deal :) I can’t be bothered modifying. Those who plan to use it will have to do it. As my mother always says, “If you don’t have a lot of money, you have to have a lot of ideas!” :)

I think Ev found out about this and made the ad banner show up in iframe, but that also can beturned off by adding the following simple snippet to the stylesheet/CSS:


iframe {display: none;}

Oh yes. I am evil indeedy. The only catch is, unless you know the CSS workaround, all the iframes on your page (commonly used for tagboard) won’t get displayed. That’s why you should learn more about CSS :)
